Hans von Dach

Hans von Dach (1927–2003), a major of Swiss army, military theorist, author of numerous works on tactics, in particular army manuals. In 1970–1980s he works in Education Section of Swiss Defence Department. He became worldwide renowned thanks to his book Total Resistance: A Guerrilla Warfare Manual for Everyone translated into more than 50 languages. Off military service he was involved in the work in Salvation Army. In 2014 The Astrolabe Publishing produced the first Ukrainian translation of his Total Resistance, the work on preparation to publication of his eight-volume book Combat technique is in progress, too.
