Christopher John Reuel Tolkien (1924–2020) is an English medieval philologist, editor of the literary heritage of his father, J. R. R. Tolkien. The results of his work are 25 books that significantly supplement the body of J. R. R. Tolkien’s works published in his lifetime. Among them are The Silmarillion, The Children of Húrin, The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrún, The Fall of Arthur, Beren and Lúthien which have been produced by the Astrolabe Publishing in Ukrainian translation.
