David E. Sanger
David E. Sanger (born 1960) is a chief correspondent for the New York Times in Washington. He specializes in national security, foreign policy and the institution of the US presidency. He has received many awards for his journalistic work, including participating in two Pulitzer Prize-winning journalism teams. In addition to the book The Perfect Weapons, the translation of which is being published by the Astrolabe Publishing, he is the author of two more, namely: The Inheritance: The World Obama Confronts and the Challenges to American Power (2009) and Confront and Conceal: Obama’s Secret Wars and Surprising Use of American Power (2012). He lectures on public policy at the Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government, and is a staff member at the Robert and Renée Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the same university. A member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Aspen Strategy Group.
