Luigi Zoja
Luigi Zoja is a contemporary Italian depth psychologist, writer and publicist. He received his economic education in Milan, afterwards studied at the Carl Gustav Jung Institute in Zurich. He taught at the universities of Palermo, Insubria, and at the Jung Institute. In 1984–1993 he headed the Italian Center of Analytical Psychology (CIPA), and in 1998–2001 the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP), as well as (in 2001–2007) the International Ethics Committee of this association. He has worked in Zurich and New York and now has his own private psychotherapy practice in Milan. He has authored 14 books, including: Born Not Enough: Initiation and Drugs Addiction, Hector’s Gesture: Prehistory, History, Modernity, and the Disappearance of the Father, Cultivating the Soul, Centaurs: Myth and Men’s Violence, Paranoia: The Madness that Makes History, Minimalistic Utopias.
