Ursula Poznanski

Ursula Poznanski (b. 1968) is one of the most successful contemporary Austrian writers. She studied Japanistics, journalism, theatrical art and law at the University of Vienna. Worked as an editor in one of the medical publishing houses. Her first book was published in 2003. But the writer became widely known thanks to the thriller novel Ereb which was released in 2010 by the German publishing house Loewe and became a bestseller. In 2011, the novel was awarded with the prestigious German Youth Literature Prize. She is specialized mainly in teenage and youth literature, but her criminal novels for the adult audience are also very successful. She lives in Vienna.
