Vitalii Levun
Vitalii Levun was born in Chernihiv region. He graduated from the Taras Shevchenko State University of Kyiv. Worked as a teacher, editor, engineer, government official, translator. His works began to be published in 1988. Since then, he has written a dozen short stories, a science fiction tale and five novels, the most recent of which is Waking Dreams on the Eve of Palm Sunday. He is currently working on the Moscovite-Ukrainian Idioms Dictionary, arranging collected over more than half a century Ukrainian equivalents to many Russian proverbs, idioms and phrases as well as individual words, especially those of foreign origin.
