Karel Jaromír Erben
Karel Jaromír Erben (1811–1870) ― a Czech romanticist, writer, philologer and ethnographer. A collector, researcher and publisher of Czech and Slovak fairy-tales, folk-songs, riddles, proverbs and legends, a compiler of Moravian and Bohemian archives’ heritage. A member of the Royal Czech Society of Sciences and its longstanding chairman. The Astrolabe Publishing published the collection of fairy-tales Goldilocks compiled by Erben.
