Oscar Wilde
Oscar Wilde (1854–1900) was an Irish prose writer, poet, playwright, intellectual, and one of the most influential English-language authors of the Victorian era. His work is marked by an exquisite style, not devoid of shock value, and at the same time by philosophical depth. His most famous work is the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray. And yet Astrolabe Publishing has begun to publish his literary legacy with his last works, which not only vividly represent his philosophy of aestheticism, but are also marked by the drama of personal catastrophe.
