John Ronald Reuel Tolkien
John Ronald Reuel Tolkien (1892–1973) — an English writer, professor of Anglo-Saxon and English languages and literatures in the University of Oxford, creator of epic cycle of Middle-earth. The fantasy novel The Lord of the Rings made him a world celebrity. Up to now the Astrolabe Publishing produced the translations of his works The Hobbit or There and Back Again, The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion, The Children of Húrin, The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrún, the collection of short stories Tales from the Perilous Realm; the edition of his The Fall of Arthur.
