Astrolabe Publishing at the 9th Book Arsenal in Kyiv, Ukraine, May 22–26, 2019

From the 22nd to the 26th of May, 2019, the 9th International Book Arsenal Festival, the biggest event in Ukraine, combining literature and art, will be held at the Art Arsenal (12 Lavrska St., Kyiv).

Our Publishing House will be placed at the exhibition stand # B3.22.

Events of the Astrolabe Publishing during the Book Arsenal: 

May 23, Thursday, at 16:00–16:45. Prologue Hall. Under the scepter of Mars: on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of a project of the publication of military literature.

May 24, Friday, at 19:00–19:45. Epilogue Hall. Presentation of the first Ukrainian translation of The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer. Within the framework of a joint project with the Creative Europe programme, together with the Ukrainian Bureau of the Creative Europe.

May 25, Saturday, at 12:00–12:45. Epilogue Hall. An Irish novel and another “Irish” one: the presentation of Ukrainian translations of the books The City of Bohane by Kevin Barry and One is Always Too Good to Women by Raymond Queneau. Within the framework of a joint project with the Creative Europe programme, together with the Ukrainian Bureau of the Creative Europe.

May 25, Saturday, at 13:00–13:45. Epilogue Hall. What to do when you’ve got to an alternative reality? Presentation of the novels of two contemporary European writers — Ice by Jacek Dukaj and Erebos by Ursula Poznanski. Within the framework of a joint project with the Creative Europe programme, together with the Ukrainian Bureau of the Creative Europe.
