Gaius Julius Caesar’s “Commentaries on the Civil War” is dedicated to the events that led to the Roman Republic’s transformation into an empire.

The book is intended for politicians, military personnel, researchers, and history enthusiasts, as well as teachers and students—anyone willing to seek the truth not through pre-packaged narratives but by studying primary sources firsthand.

“The Civil War” launches our new book series — Astrolabe Book Collection.

These are pocket editions of German Romantics, Latin and Greek classics, and selected Ukrainian and foreign literature.
