In the second part of his study on the street fighting between Ukrainians and Poles in Lviv, which resulted in a full-scale war between both neighboring nations, the author, on the basis of documentary sources, evidences and memoirs, thoroughly reconstructs the dramatic course of the confrontation during November 10–21, 1918. The process of getting involved the official Kyiv and Warsaw in the conflict, which led to the beginning of the Ukrainian-Polish war 1918–1919, is reproduced. Vicissitudes of the combats on November 13–17 are analyzed, reasons for the temporary cessation of the fighting during November 18–21 are covered, and the fullest extent of the circumstances of the decisive battle on November 21 is reconstructed. On the basis of this information, decisions taken by the commands of both parties, as well as possible alternatives, are evaluated.
