Dainu: Latvian Folk-Song

This book contains the most typical and the brightest samples of Latvian dainu. To date, over one million such songs have been recorded in Latvia and elsewhere, and mostly these are short four-line blank verses. But here Ukrainian readers have an opportunity to get acquainted with the optimal quantity of the songs and to create their own objective impression of Latvian folk-song heritage. These poetical miniatures become available to Ukrainian readers for the first time.
