The book is dedicated to the analysis of the processes that were happening in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church during the first half of the 20th century. The author describes in detail this dramatic and almost unknown period in the history of the Ukrainian Orthodoxy, defends the idea of the unity of the Christ Church, and from the point of view of the Catholic ecclesiology critically considers historical and canonical arguments of the adherents of the absolute independence of the individual churches.
