The book is part of a fundamental author’s project of covering the complex process of formation of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the moment of gaining state independence. For the first time in Ukrainian historiography and on the basis of significant archival material and a private collection of military insignia, the military history of Crimea in 1945‒2003 and the creation of a military group on its territory are covered, and the history of the 32nd Army Corps of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are described against the background of these events. For scientists, teachers, cadets and students of both military and civilian educational institutions, collectors of military insignia as well as for everyone who is interested in the military history of Ukraine.
