In the report the main attention is given to the acseological (value) properties of the Constitution of Ukraine 1996 which – according to the author – disclose themselves through the prism of its three typical features: the social value of the Constitution of Ukraine; its value as of the normative legal act (juridical value); and the national state (spiritual) value of the Ukrainian nation. The valid Constitution of Ukraine is considered also as one of the important guaranties of the national state system of the Ukrainian nation, its well-being and worthy future in the circle of the free European nations.
