Human, All Too Human: A Book for Free Spirits Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
This is the first Ukrainian edition of Human, All Too Human, a book of the famous German philosopher Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (1844–1900) that was originally published in 1878 and was like a bomb explosion in a literary world, as its contemporaries have stated. All things that mattered and still matters to the majority of people — metaphysics, religion, art, culture, morale, idealism, aesthetics, humanism etc — were severely examined by Nietzsche. However, there is no need to insist on essential overturn in his views referring to the work or to call the work itself ultimately ‘realistic’ or ‘scientific’. In the text ‘physics’ is only an occasional instrument, a stumbling-block of any ‘methaphysics’, and a newly converted admirer of science is but a true master of disbelief who joined the scientists just to improve his tactical thinking.
