GROTESQUE and CARICATURE in the System of Graphic Arts

This manual gives some basic notions that concern these artistic styles and methods of development of fancy and thinking. It also shows the connection between mental and emotional reaction on one’s surroundings and its reflection in art in the context of historical development of grotesque and caricature. There are two main factors that define the consecution of teaching method, meaning topicality of chosen theme and interesting graphic exercises.
