In the early 2000s, a young Lviv artist Olesia Sanotska fi nds herself among people who are addicted to alcohol, have no home and no good environment. She decides to share her life with them and create a unique community — a place where they would fi nd a home, friendship and support. Th is book is the story of the creation of the “Oselya” and the people who, aft er experiencing life on the streets, losses and personal tragedies, fi nally found themselves in a community. Will they be able to heal old wounds and start a new life? Will more than twenty strangers be able to create their cozy home? What idea will unite the desperate? Th is book is about those who have lost their homes but care for society, about those who make this world a little kinder.
