The Beowulf

This book is a part of a series on medieval European literature in Ukrainian translation. It is the fi rst Ukrainian translation of this famous Germanic epic, set simultaneously in the political ethos of sixth-century northern Europe and in ancient mythopoetic legend. Th e text is illustrated with pictures of contemporary artifacts.
